Omar Waheed MA RP CSAT – Clinical Director
I am a Registered Therapist (RP) in Toronto, Ontario and I serve clients in the GTA and online across Ontario. I have focused my practice on behavioural addictions and have trained extensively to become a specialist in this area. I have the following qualifications:
Qualifications & Training

- Registered Psychotherapist with the college of registered psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) with independent practice designation.
- Certified sex addiction counselor (CSAT) from the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals (IITAP) in Arizona.

Over the years I have worked at many clinics and agencies that focus on men’s issues and addictions. However a few years ago I made the decision to begin my own private practice. Overall, I’ve had the privilege of knowing clients like yourself and your families for over 17 years. I meet clients in-person at a meeting space in Vaughan or Newmarket, ON. However, I serve clients across the country via online therapy.
I am grateful to be in this occupation where I get to share journeys of recovery with so many amazing men and their families. I thank you for your trust and hope I can serve you well. If you would like to ask questions about myself, therapy or the issues your are facing, please feel free to book a free consult .

Kari Heikkila MSW RSW – Therapist
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario, offering virtual psychotherapy services to adults. With over 12 years of experience in community and hospital settings, I have supported individuals navigating the challenges of addiction, behavioural health, and co-occurring mental health concerns.

I specialize in treating addiction and help adults address patterns that interfere with their well-being and daily life. I also work with adults who have ADHD, mood or anxiety disorders, and difficulties with emotional regulation — challenges that often intersect with addictive behaviours. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and inclusive. I support clients of all backgrounds to understand their experiences, reduce harmful patterns, and develop practical strategies for positive change. I draw on evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and a down-to-earth style to my work. Using gentle humor and attention to underlying emotions, I help clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate challenges and make lasting changes.
