Over the years I have worked at many clinics and agencies that focus on men’s issues and addictions. However a few years ago I made the decision to begin my own private practice. Overall, I’ve had the privilege of knowing clients like yourself and your families for over 17 years. I meet clients in-person at a meeting space in Vaughan or Newmarket, ON. However, I serve clients across the country via online therapy.

I am grateful to be in this occupation where I get to share journeys of recovery with so many amazing men and their families. I thank you for your trust and hope I can serve you well. If you would like to ask questions about myself, therapy or the issues your are facing, please feel free to book a free consult .

Raisah Mehrali MA RP (Qualifying) – Therapist ($150/session)

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the life you want to be living. Sometimes this shows up as anxiety, low mood, grief, burnout, difficulty managing emotions, or patterns that seem hard to change. Whatever brings you to therapy, you do not have to sort through it alone.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario and work with teens and adults. I aim to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, better understand what you are experiencing, and begin working toward meaningful change. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard and when the process feels collaborative rather than prescriptive.

Qualifications & Training

  • Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University
  • EMDR trained
  • My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed principles
Raisah Mehrali

My approach is flexible and tailored to the person in front of me. I work with teens navigating anxiety, self-esteem, school or social pressures, relationships, and emotional overwhelm, as well as adults experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout, relationship concerns, and life transitions.I also bring a personal understanding of grief through my own experience of losing a loved one. This has shaped the compassion and sensitivity I bring to supporting clients through loss, while recognizing that every person’s experience of grief is different.Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You do not need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. We can start with what is happening for you now and work together at a pace that feels right.
